Kingston Farmers Market

Design and installation of a public art mural located at Kingston Heath Reserve for the Kingston Farmers Market.

The mural celebrates the notion of community and people enjoying the surrounding environment in harmony. Glimpses of people appear walking through the trails and cycling on the paths, celebrating the active use of the surrounding reserve.

An orchard swallow tail butterfly lands on a common everlasting, while rounded noon-flowers and purple coral-pea interact with large natural shapes to create a harmonious composition. Community is represented and celebrated in the design through the diversity of plants and shapes all working together in a harmonious colour palette to create a bright and eye-catching design.
